After much discussion and careful consideration, the United Way Board of Directors voted to make a change in our grantmaking policy for the 2026-28 grant cycle: to accept applications only from those agencies we currently fund. In other words, no new grant applications will be accepted. We are hopeful this change in policy is short-lived. In 2027 we will analyze the economic landscape and determine what our policy will be for the 2028-30 grant cycle.
